Everyone is always looking for Training, let us help!

Training is a vital part of professional development. There is a very large umbrella of training required for varying tracks within emergency management, continuity, security, and others to help create a resilient training program. Adaptability and flexibility is a cornerstone trait for great emergency managers. Nothing is the same, each planning effort, response, recovery, or mitigation is different. There are often similarities that can be identified by training, exercise, and experience.

Training is usually available with local, state, and federal emergency management offices. The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) hosts training on site for several program areas. Associations like the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI) provide training specific to Business Continuity.  ISC2 provides Cyber Security and Incident Response training, ASIS provides physical security training and certification. These are some examples of programs available. Many of these have costs associated and tie into larger certification programs.

Ready Set Relief has compiled a training program that is designed to help emergency managers progress from beginners to executives in the field and are always willing to share it for any interested aspiring emergency managers. If you want a copy for development, fill out the Google Form: https://forms.gle/PJtitoe92Wyonsqr7Diligent Resolve provides training and exercise support, we have training available and are always looking to support resilience.

Ready Set Relief is developing a comprehensive training certification program that will cover the entire resilience bucket (Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations/Government, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery/Information System Contingency Plans, Physical Security, Information Security, Crisis Communications, Healthcare Emergency Preparedness etc.). This program will have three tiers as indicated below and should be released in late 2023 and is a stair-step program regardless of experience. No matter your level of experience, you will learn at each progression.
